Interested in what's happening with the Coffee Technicians Guild behind the scenes? Want to get involved in developing the education curriculum? Want to plan an event for the Guild? Have an idea for a newsletter article?

Well, the Guild is always looking for more hands to keep things moving. Currently, we have 3 committees that could all use support in solidifying what we do as a Guild.

  • Events Committee - Plans and facilitates Guild events ranging from assisting with local Gearhead Events to the CTG Annual Summits.
  • Education Committee - Develops and writes all Guild education modules. The first of which will be introduced this year at EXPO.
  • Membership Committee - Establishes what it means to be a member of the Guild and what benefits come with membership.

If you'd like to serve on any of the above committees and make your voice known in shaping the future of the Coffee Technicians Guild, apply to serve on a committee.

The CTG Newsletter is our way to get information out to the Guild on a monthly basis. This can be in depth technical articles about problems we all encounter, showcasing interesting machines, introducing one of our members through the member profiles, an interesting case study of a specific problem and how you worked through it. The possibilities are endless. If you have ideas for future newsletter articles and would like to contribute, fill out the newsletter content submission form.

Lastly, if you're planning to attend the Specialty Coffee Expo in Seattle this April, there will be a CTG booth (#1001) that needs to be manned and some other volunteer opportunities as well. Take a look at Kaleb's article about Expo for more details.
